Aquaflore is a series inspired by botanical plates or herbariums. It’s a genre I love because it allows me to explore shapes, textures and colours.
I create this type of composition by playing around, starting with an initial element or sketch and having fun finding which element could respond to the other. This creative process leads to the development of fragments of my universe, always inspired by nature and living things.
